abstract: in this talk i would like to introduce two results which are applicable to several applied problems. they are the born approximation/born series for hyperbolic equations and the completeness of helmholtz decomposition with three scalar functions satisfying the helmholtz equations for homogeneous isotropic elastic/viscoelastic equations.
